Veloce Podcast No. 7 – How to Not Be a Sketchy Rider

ride safe, how to not be a sketchy rider

In Episode No. 7 of The Veloce Podcast, Aaron and Pat discuss the ‘golden rule’ of bicycle safety, and go over several points which will not only increase your safety on group rides, but will minimize the amount of chastising glances you may receive from salty veterans, analyzing your ‘sketchy’ riding skills.

Ultimately, the Golden Rule for taking risks is, “You can always take risks for yourself, but don’t take risks for other riders.” Better stated, if you’re going to put yourself in a ‘precarious’ situation, make sure you are the only one who is put at risk–don’t put other’s at risk!
